Safety Precautions

We are about health and vitality. We place great importance on the need to maintain a space that is safe, not only for you and for us, but for people we all interact with who are vulnerable. We are truly all in this together. Here’s how we are making this happen:

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE:

  • Before your appointment we will contact you to ask if you have shown any new Covid-19 symptoms in the last two weeks to determine whether your appointment can proceed as planned.

  • Please wear a mask that covers your mouth and nose at all times while in the office.

  • Please be prepared to wear your own clothing during the session as we are not able to use cloth gowns at the moment. A bra or loose tank top and underwear or loose shorts work well.

  • Please arrive on time for your appointment so we will be able to bring you directly into a treatment room and reduce time in the waiting room.

  • Please come alone for your appointment if possible. If you are unable to come unaccompanied, please limit to one guest.

  • Whenever possible we encourage contact-free payments on Venmo.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE:

  • We will screen a second time for any new Covid-19 symptoms before allowing admittance to the office.

  • Upon entrance, please use the sanitizing gel and alcohol swabs provided in the waiting room to disinfect your hands and cell phone.

  • Please maintain at least 6 feet of distance from other patients and staff except for brief moments during your session where that is not possible.

ON OUR END:

  • We are all fully vaccinated and boosted.

  • We have added medical-grade H13 HEPA air purifiers to each room optimize air quality and safety.

  • We have adjusted our schedules to reduce the number of people in the office.

  • We have removed everything from the treatment rooms that is not easily disinfected, so you will notice some changes.

  • The treatment rooms and all high touch surfaces are disinfected between every patient with a CDC-authorized disinfectant.

  • Common areas including the waiting room and doorknobs are disinfected multiple times a day.

  • We wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in the office and during your session.

  • We clean our hands thoroughly upon arrival at the office and between every patient.

  • Before we begin work we screen ourselves for Covid-19 symptoms.

  • As always, we do our best to walk our talk and to maintain our own health and safety both inside and outside the office.
